We are a small, unique museum dedicated to Aprons. We focus on Aprons as art, as fashion, and as history. I like the history. Aprons are the only man-made objects that have been right in front of us for centuries.

Carolyn Terry - Owner & Curator

Progressive donated this apron to The Apron Museum signed by Flo in support of the museum and shared understanding of aprons.
“Aprons have a long history as a symbol of hard work, service, protection and care."

"The Language of Aprons"

"Women [have] used aprons not only as functional items to protect clothing, but also as an agency of self to signify an appropriate femininity for the era in which they were worn."

“That lady in there knew everything about aprons. And I find that very impressive. I feel like when you do something; go all in. ”
