Support The Apron Museum

We Don't Need Much

The Apron Museum operates on a shoestring (Apron string?) budget and will continue to do so. Nobody gets into Aprons for fortune and glamour. Carolyn and Henry Terry are enjoying their retirement with friends, family, church, and Aprons.  But you can help...

  • First - Come and visit the museum

  • Second - Donate your Aprons and help grow the collection in quality and breadth

  • Third - Share your Apron Story to help expand our language about Aprons!

  • Fourth - We welcome you to sponsor the museum and its exhibits with any small amount that you can cheerfully give.

Thank you so very much for the opportunity to share Aprons with more people around the world and around the corner in our own small towns.

More details on how to support the world of Aprons are below.

Why Your Support Matters

The Apron Museum in Iuka, Mississippi is the only museum in the world dedicated solely to aprons. With thousands of Aprons in its collection, each piece tells a story: of family kitchens, of fashion trends, of artistry passed down through generations. These aprons are more than fabric — they are living symbols of history, love, and connection.

Why We Need Your Help

We believe everyone should have access to this unique cultural treasure. But caring for thousands of aprons is no small task. Each apron requires:

  • Careful cleaning and preservation to protect delicate fabrics.

  • Archival storage to prevent damage from time and environment.

  • Ongoing maintenance of displays so visitors can enjoy them for years to come.

Your voluntary contributions make this possible. Every dollar helps us keep these Aprons safe, vibrant, and ready to inspire future generations.

The Heart Behind the Aprons

Aprons symbolize more than utility. They represent:

  • History: Everyday lives of people across decades.

  • Fashion: Changing styles and cultural trends.

  • Art: Creativity stitched into every seam.

By supporting The Apron Museum, you’re helping preserve a collection that celebrates the beauty of ordinary life and the extraordinary stories woven into it.

Your generosity ensures that The Apron Museum remains a place of healing, connection, and progress — where the past meets the present, and where love is stitched into every apron.

Together, we can keep the threads of history strong.
